Based on the deep study of nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum phase and baseline correction

The current network seminar held on May 11, 2021

Seminar introduction

Brooke is committed to developing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) based on artificial intelligence application, thus provides a new function: in the TopSpin automatically at the same time for 1 h nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of phase and baseline correction.

At the symposium on Internet, Simon Bruderer and Dr Federico Paruzzo Dr Will guide us to understand this new application.Introduced in this work, after the team behind them some technical details of the new algorithm are given, and its performance with other comparison of TopSpin method can be used for the same task. Finally, they demonstrated how to use the application in practice, and emphasizes on the experimental spectra obtained some results.

Introduction of the speaker

Dr Federico Paruzzo

Brooke nuclear magnetic data scientists

Dr Paruzzo from Turin, Italy, in lausanne EPFL to obtain a doctoral degree.During the study, Dr Paruzzo specializes in experimental nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and machine learning, and in January 2020 to join the brook, as a data scientist used its expertise to participate in the development of the next generation of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer.

Dr Simon Bruderer

Brooke nuclear magnetic data scientists

Dr Bruderer grew up in Switzerland, at eth Zurich obtained a doctorate in astrophysics. In garching, of the Max Planck institute for extraterrestrial physics in astrochemical postdoctoral work, he has been in a high school, a professor of physics and information science, and as a data scientist at credit suisse.Dr Bruderer in November 2019 to join the brook, as a data scientist, with its experience in depth study and spectroscopy, helping to develop the innovation of the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and user friendly tool.
